Located just 10 minutes outside Carmarthen, it offers a quiet and picturesque setting that allowed us to relax and unwind. The cottage itself was incredibly comfortable and homely, with all the necessary amenities. The highlight for our children was the stunning farm, where they got to interact with friendly animals and take beautiful walks along the river. Jackie and Charlie, the hosts, were exceptional and made our stay truly enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there was a small playground or outdoor play area for the children.

It's in this dope quiet spot with sick views and it's hella comfy. Like, the beds are mad comfy and the whole place feels like home. It's only 10 mins from Carmarthen center, which is great for hangouts. And dude, it's only 45 mins from Tenby and 10 mins from Fos Las racecourse, so we had mad fun exploring. Plus, the farm is insane - the walk to the river is beautiful and all the animals are chill. Jackie and Charlie are the homies and made our stay so epic. We're defo going back!
Only thing is, for us party animals, we could've done with a bit more nightlife. Like maybe some mad clubs or a sick bar nearby.

It's like the perfect combo of chill and excitement. We hit up Oakwood Theme Park and it was only like a 48-kilometer drive. Pure adrenaline, man! And then we checked out the Grand Theatre, which was like 38 kilometers away. The shows were sick! Wren Cottage's location was legit, with loads of fun stuff nearby.
The only thing we could've used more of was some wicked party vibes. Like, if there was a bar or something nearby where we could've had a wild night out, that would've been unreal.

Featuring garden views, this cozy holiday home was a delightful retreat during my stay in Carmarthen. The picturesque patio was perfect for sipping morning coffee while making plans for the day's adventures. With the convenience of a dishwasher and washing machine, I felt like I had my own personal housekeeping fairy! And let's not forget the mouthwatering continental breakfast - it was a delicious way to start each morning!
Limited bathroom towels.

The cleanliness and well-equipped facilities were absolutely mind-blowing. The tranquil surroundings with no light pollution made for jaw-dropping stargazing at night. The happy and well-looked-after animals added a touch of super cuteness to the already gorgeous setting. The breakfasts were simply amazing, leaving us in a food coma. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the warm and welcoming hosts who treated us like long-lost friends. Jackie's attention to detail was on another level, making sure nothing was too much trouble. We're already counting down the days until we can return to this hidden gem.
